Clinical Indications in Orthopedic Trauma The 4.0mm self-tapping cancellous cannulated screw is indicated for fracture management, reconstruction, and arthrodesis in small to medium-sized bones:

Ankle & Pilon Fractures: Medial and lateral malleolar fracture fixation, distal anterior tibial margin (Tillaux/Chaput) fragments, and Volkmann’s posterior rim fixation.

Foot & Tarsal Trauma: Talus neck and body fractures, intra-articular calcaneus fractures, navicular fractures, and Lisfranc tarsometatarsal arthrodesis.

Pelvis & Acetabular Fixation: Iliac wing compression, pediatric pelvic trauma, and peri-articular lag fixation.

Knee & Patellar Trauma: Patellar fractures (tension band wiring augmentation or direct lag screws), coronal shear fractures of the distal femur and proximal tibia.

Wrist & Elbow Fixation: Radial head and neck fractures, olecranon osteotomies, coronoid process fixation, and carpal scaphoid stabilization.

Pediatric & Small Stature Trauma: Slipped capital femoral epiphysis (SCFE) in small frames or pediatric metaphyseal fracture compression.
