3.9mm Interlocking Screw | Orthopedic Trauma Implants

Clinical Indications in Orthopedic Trauma The 3.9mm interlocking screw is indicated for transverse, oblique, and comminuted fracture management stabilized with intramedullary devices:

  • Tibial Shaft Fractures: Proximal, middle, and distal third diaphyseal tibia fractures managed with reamed or unreamed interlocking tibial nails.

  • Humeral Diaphyseal Trauma: Antegrade and retrograde humeral nailing for midshaft humerus fractures, pathological lesions, and impending humeral fractures.

  • Metaphyseal Tibial Extensions: Distal pilon-extension fractures and proximal extra-articular tibia fractures requiring multi-planar distal/proximal locking configurations.

  • Non-Unions & Malunions: Revision osteosynthesis and dynamization procedures using dynamic locking slots to induce axial dynamization and secondary callus formation.

  • Pathological & Periprosthetic Fixation: Prophylactic and post-fracture stabilization of osteolytic long-bone lesions requiring stable load-sharing constructs.

High-Torque Drive Interface

Available in deep StarDrive (T15/T20) or 3.5 mm hexagonal recess profiles to ensure positive driver coupling and eliminate cam-out, stripping, or driver jamming through distal targeting jigs and radiolucent drill guides.

Traceability

High-precision laser etching on the screw head displays diameter, length, and lot numbers for 100% operating room tracking and implant registry safety.
