PFN Nail (Proximal Femoral Nail)

Biolink Medical technology’s PFN (Proximal Femoral Nail) is engineered for stable fixation of trochanteric and sub trochanteric femur fractures using a dual-screw fixation system in the femoral neck. Manufactured from surgical-grade Ti-6Al-4V titanium alloy, the PFN provides rotational and angular stability through its two-screw configuration — a compression screw for controlled load and a smaller anti-rotation screw for added stability.

The nail’s anatomically optimized proximal geometry supports minimally invasive insertion, while its distal locking options allow surgeons to select static or dynamic fixation depending on fracture pattern and healing stage. Primary Use: Used for Trochanteric femur fractures (stable and unstable) , Subtrochanteric femur fractures ,.Basicervical femoral neck fractures in select cases , Reverse oblique intertrochanteric fractures , Ipsilateral femoral shaft and trochanteric fracture combinations, Revision cases requiring dual-screw rotational control
